Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist presently affiliated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawk On the Street' (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk in the Street' (CNBC). Although she is an Ohioan but she didn't have a keen interest in currency and markets during the time she was in college. She was an intern at ForexTV.com as a student at New York University. This was the place where she got the first experience of business news. She went on to earn an advanced degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The work experience was for the duration of four months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. She then returned to America and began working in New York at Bloomberg. Later, she was promoted to anchor for a TV show. CNBC hired her in December 2013 to be a reporter. After being a co-anchor for "Worldwide Exchange" as well as Power Lunch', she was recruited by CNBC in December 2013. She then got the position at Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen co-anchors 'Squawk on the Street' since 2014. She is one of the most reputable business journalists in the world today. Since her arrival at CNBC her main concentration has been on global consumer news.
