Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is an American actress, singer and model. She was a model for a while before becoming an actress. She was the lead female vocalist for Apollonia 6 and co-starred in Prince's film Purple Rain from 1984. The actress and singer was christened Apollonia by Prince and became one of many female performers in the 1980s who benefited from her relationship with the Purple One. Patricia Kotero, born 1959 in Santa Monica California began her career as a model and actress. In the late 70s she was a guest on CHiPS. In 1984, Patricia Kotero was chosen to play the lead lady in Prince's Purple Rain. (During this period of time, he also changed her name.) She then replaced Vanity as a member of the female trio Vanity 6 which starred in the film with Apollonia 6 under their name. The three scored a minor success with the film Sex Shooter, but it was as Prince's duet partner in Take Me with You from the soundtrack that she had a greater chart impact. Kotero ended her relationship with Prince following a falling out about the fate of Apollonia 6. Kotero went on to be featured in several minor films during the period (reportedly declining to appear on her Purple Rain follow-up Under the Cherry Moon) and then landed in the role of a nighttime show Falcon Crest during 1985-1986. Apollonia released her first album in 1988. However, it was not a great mix of dance and R&B music that did not really impress the public. The album quickly disappeared from view. In the years that followed the singer-songwriter remained an active actress with minor film roles and small TV shows. Apollonia's album "Stay With Me" was released in 1997. When she returned to school, she received the degree of a bachelor in filmmaking. She also founded her own company. Apollonia is employed in a variety of roles. She was a model, actress, and talent manager. Her role as an actor in the 1984 film Purple Rain made her a star. Additionally, she has been featured on TV shows and films such as Black Magic Woman. Kotero debuted her career as a model. She's been involved in a variety of contests and pageants. Kotero took first place for her first contest, the Miss San Pedro Beauty Pageant. Her acting career began in the early 1980s. Apollonia Kotero was born in America. She's an actress who is also a model, singer as well as a talent manager. Her most famous roles include the film "Purple Rain,"' and she was lead singer in the girl group Apollonia 6 In her career as a performer, she's released a handful of album collaborations and solo albums as well as numerous songs, including Red Light Romeo Mismatch The Same Dream and Since I fell for You. Kotero has also appeared in many movies in addition to Purple Rain. Her popular films are Back To Back Black Magic Woman La Donna di una Sera and Cattive Ragazze. Kotero is an American actress has appeared in many music videos, including those for Ray Parker Jr. Kotero is an entrepreneur in addition to being the founder of Kotero Entertainment which is a multi-media entertainment company.
